Many of you are familiar with songs that were composed for and are still sung at the Taizé community in France. St. Barnabas’ has often sung one of its simple repetitive songs during communion, especially during Lent. The songs were meant to be easily learned by the multinational groups that make pilgrimages to Taizé, and they often have multilingual lyrics. St. Barnabas’ is offering a service of Taizé music on Saturday, March 9th at 5:00 PM to be held in the Richardson Room. Our young people are contributing to the design of the service; you can expect candles, readings, art, and options to sit on rugs.
