The Rev. John Bolin Shellito, RectorJohn Bolin Shellito was called as third Rector of St. Barnabas' in June 2020. He has been a part of Episcopal churches in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York City, Northern California, and Northern Virginia. Nancy MacLachlan, Interim Music MinisterNancy MacLachlan grew up in a family where being musical was practically a requirement. She has been teaching the piano since her high school days, and has carried that skill all around the world, from Canada, to Singapore, to the Czech Republic. She has acquired three post-secondary degrees, all in music and music education, and is a certified Orff-Schulwerk practitioner. Nancy has also been serving as the representative for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music for the Mid-Atlantic region since 2006. Fiona Agnew, Interim Parish AdministratorFiona Agnew took on the role of Interim Parish Administrator at the end of August 2024. She has been a member of St. Barnabas' parish since she was a young child and is grateful for the chance to give back to her community. Office hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The office is closed for Federal Holidays, and follows Fairfax County Public School policy for weather events.
